Trailer Sales of New York’s medium duty Premium 16000 GVWR Flatbed Trailer is built with a continuous cold formed 10″ I-beam main frame and tongue with 3″ channel cross members on 17″ centers and a 6″ outer rail with stake pockets and rub rail. The bed length is 18′ of flat with a 5′ dovetail. The running gear features two 7,000 lb. heavy duty 8 lug axles with heavy duty slipper spring suspension. Standard tires are 235/80 R16 load range E radials. We recommend our all steel G range tire upgrade for only $400 extra. We use a steel plate over the tires for added durability in this high stress area and to minimize the deck height for easy loading of equipment. Standard features include a 2 5/16″ adjustable ball or pintle ring coupler, 12K drop foot jack, and toolbox with lockable lid. There are stake pockets with rub rail the full length of the bed. Flooring is pressure treated wood. A 5′ dovetail with wedge shape lay flat ramps gives versatility for loading equipment or hauling freight. You can also special order this trailer with 19′ Flat Deck, a 4′ pop up dovetail and swing up loading ramps for $300 extra.
